Key services
we offer

St. Clares Foundation has been championing rights of children for the past 15 years, we are learning and leading our work in providing services in:

• Provision of 24 hour residential care and support for orphans and vulnerable children
• Life Skills Training ( environmental Management, Baking and perm culture/gardening)
• Facilitation of Hosting, reunification and foster care placements
• Educational Program (mainstream education, early learning development and Aftercare Teaching)
• Celebration of National and International days of importance, the likes of Madaraka Day, Mashujaa Day, Jamuhuri Day, Child Protection Week, etc
• Provides training on personal and social skills of living through Developmental Group Work.
• Management of children’s health needs. Immunization clinic and hospital/clinic visits
• Spiritual Guidance through attending church and religious seminars.
• Provision of individual counseling or therapy by the social worker
• IDP assessments and formulation of care plans
• Therapeutic Group Work
• Referrals to other therapists if need be.

  1. HELP IN THE NURSERY

• Feeding babies their bottles
• Feeding babies their solids
• Changing nappies
• Putting babies to sleep
• Playing with the babies
• Bathing the babies
• Giving babies their medicine

2. ON-SITE ACTIVITIES

If you can donate some time using your professional skill, please contact us to set up a time to help us. This can include various kinds of therapies, such as physio and OT, extra lessons or any kind of educational skill

3. AT-HOME ACTIVITIES

• Scrapbooking the babies' memory albums
• Making baby food
• Stock a school lunch box
• Caregiver hamper
• Medical hamper

Our main priority is the holistic well-being and needs of the children in our care, enabling them to rebuild their sense of self and purpose.
